Welcome to Awaken. By using this app you agree to this agreement. Please read it carefully — especially the bolded parts.
1. The Service
Awaken provides learning records, temperature (forgetting-curve) computation, review reminders, multi-device sync, a content library, and guided review assistance. We keep improving the product; specific features may change with updates.
2. Accounts
- You can use the app with Sign in with Apple or a username registration;
- Keep your credentials safe — actions under your account are your responsibility;
- If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.
3. Subscriptions (Membership)
- Plans & pricing: Free tier ／ Regular ¥12 per month ／ Advanced ¥28 per month ／ Deep ¥38 per month; yearly: Regular ¥98 ／ Advanced ¥198 ／ Deep ¥298 per year. Record limits, cloud storage, and features per tier are as shown on the in-app purchase page.
- Auto-renewal: paid tiers are auto-renewing subscriptions billed to your Apple ID; the next period is charged within 24 hours before the current one ends.
- Cancellation: cancel anytime in iOS "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions". The period you already paid for stays active until it ends, then the account returns to the free tier.
- Downgrade & data: data beyond the free-tier quota becomes read-only and archived — never deleted; resubscribing restores full features and data automatically.
- Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy; we cannot issue refunds directly. Once a refund takes effect, the corresponding membership benefits are revoked.
- Price changes: if prices change, you will be notified in advance per Apple's rules and may cancel before the change takes effect.
4. User Content
- The text, photos, audio, video, and handwriting you upload ("User Content") belong to you;
- You grant us only the processing needed to provide storage, sync, and backup; we will not use your content for any other purpose;
- You agree not to upload content that violates laws or infringes others' rights (copyright, privacy, etc.);
- We may remove violating content and restrict violating accounts. Report violations to zz@gyretech.cn — reports are handled within 72 hours.
5. Intellectual Property
The app and its interface, algorithms, and documentation are the developer's intellectual property. This agreement transfers no intellectual property to you.
6. Disclaimers & Limits
- The temperature algorithm and review suggestions are assistive tools, not a promise of learning outcomes;
- We work hard to keep the service stable and your data safe, but we are not liable for outages or data loss caused by force majeure or carrier-network failures;
- Please back up important data regularly with the in-app export feature.
7. Changes & Termination
We may revise this agreement from time to time; revisions are published on this page with an effective date, and continued use means acceptance. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy, Section 5).
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation.
